At least I have extra time to review my files and backups, which will only take a few minutes.
Open "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download" and remove all files there. Next, execute the command prompt with admin privileges and input "wuauclt.exe /updatenow". Then navigate to Control Panel, select Windows Update, and your Windows 10 should begin downloading again from the beginning, ideally without issues this time. This will fetch the latest Windows update.
