No, we won't see Half-Life 3 at E3.
No, we won't see Half-Life 3 at E3.
This year's release of Steam Machines and VR, along with Valve's presence at the event and the recent HL3 leak, suggests it could be the year HL3 is finally revealed.
I don't believe Half-Life 3 will ever be released—it's just a massive scam.
We won’t witness HF3 because no one would enjoy it, even if it were the most believable and exciting plot with the best physics animations ever.
But cash? Valve has been pretty busy these days! Just like any business, they're focused on making a big profit.
It doesn't matter if they're not great; it's probably a failure soon once sales start, since everyone will be let down. Valve earns plenty from their existing hits like CSGO and Dota, so they really shouldn't have to make HL3.
But who cares, and no it wouldn't flop, it'd just not meet the hype. Always more money to be made... Maybe they'll transfer the hype into a new game.
