Hi, I understand your concern. You want to check for new messages without using Discord sound alerts. You’re currently using a workaround with an Explorer window under the taskbar on your second monitor. Since the latest Windows update disrupted this method, you might need alternative solutions. There are options that don’t rely on audio cues—like visual indicators or third-party tools—but I’d need to explore possibilities carefully. Let me know if you’d like more details on potential workarounds.

Do you have an Android or Amazon tablet? You can use the Space Desk as a temporary third monitor until you locate the right device.

It seems there might be a mod available to handle this. I'm sure Windows can manage it, though there isn't a specific setting for it. Lively Wallpaper offers an experimental feature to hide the taskbar, but it's currently problematic—sometimes appearing in full-screen apps, even games. The option is disabled because it's frustrating. Anyone know of such a mod or a fix? Thanks to programmers!

I also have an extra Android device and a wireless charger/stand, so I could try that. But it seems a bit too complicated, hehe.
