I just purchased the Apple Watch and I’ve already received it. I was expecting issues, but I wondered if there’s a chance it could work properly. I considered reaching out through a trusted source, though I wasn’t sure where to find someone reliable.

You paid $400 for an item that may not be backed.

It's actually more involved than I thought, honestly—I just didn't have the energy to go through everything.

you will have to update to a newer firmware. I think it has to be 8.2 or newer, and I don't believe there is a jailbreak for 8.2 or 8.3 yet. I heard a jailbreak for 8.3 is nearing release, but I'm not holding my breath for it.

You're asking if upgrading to iOS 8 and jailbreaking still works, since the iPhone 4s usually isn't supported.

Google must develop a top-quality smartwatch to enable all Android developers to assist with issues instead of relying on proprietary systems for specific solutions.
