I activated the GPU support in BIOS and simply connecting the GPU works fine. The problem is I already replaced the GPU and paid extra for a different version of the Ryzen 5 5600. I need it to function while I purchase another GPU. Any solutions? The system runs normally. When I connect the HDMI cable, the screen turns black showing something is wrong but nothing appears. Is this a driver issue? Should I reset the CMOS? Could the HDMI port not be working even though it’s detected? I edited my settings in safe mode and rebooted; then the GPU still doesn’t show anything. EDIT: I put Windows into safe mode and restarted, which made the GPU display but not the GPU itself. How can both be fixed in normal Windows? I actually turned on GPU support in BIOS and set it to “forced” from auto, disabling other modes. Updated and deleted drivers using DDU without an internet connection, but when installation nears completion the GPU stops showing and I have to uninstall drivers again.

I haven't done it. However, when I first opened the BIOS it indicated the CMOS was reset as though I removed the CMOS battery. All settings returned to the default state.

I tried using a different monitor instead of the old one, and it now works perfectly. Honestly, I’m not sure why this happened. After submitting support tickets to AMD, Gigabyte, and Corsair, I’m still trying to figure it out.
