Windows 11 64 (Unlicensed) (secure boot on) Rx 6650xt - 25.8.1 drivers R7 5700g - Most recent APU & Chipset drivers from Gigabyte's website on my motherboard (stock cooler) Gigabyte A520i AC mini itx (latest bios) 32gb 3600Mhz ram Fractal Design Terra (has riser cable) 750w Gold SFX PSU (lian li) Hi all, My system (above) is having problems that have not yet been resolved, so sorry to those who may have seen my previous post. Games randomly drop low in framerate for extended periods of time and I have been pointed towards it being a CPU issue. While troubleshooting and testing, I found that my 5700g could not output any display. There are 2 HDMi and 1 displayport plugs on the motherboard and none work. I have installed APU and chipset drivers myself using the ones found on Gigabyte's website for my motherboard and also had them automatically installed and updated via AMD adrenaline (and I made sure to uninstall previous drivers as well). I reseated the CPU but it did not fix the problem, nor has reinstalling Windows. All of the pins are perfectly fine as well. Is this a simple problem to fix? Are there dedicated video-out drivers I'm not aware of? More importantly - is this a problem with the CPU or motherboard that would require an RMA or replacement? Thanks! Edit: My friend also has a motherboard and 5600g that are currently not being used. Would it be worthwhile to play around with those components to deduce if any of my current parts are the problem?

No, I didn't remove the GPU. That action was not taken.

That's correct, thanks! I believed the tales about people mistakenly connecting motherboard ports instead of GPU ports meant it didn't matter whether the GPU was disconnected or not, right?

It varies by BIOS settings. Usually the integrated GPU is turned off when a dedicated GPU is connected, but both can be active together. You may have the option to enable both manually.

It isn't completely disabled, though a BIOS setting controls video output priority. With a GPU installed, it typically defaults to PCI-E. You can choose iGPU multi-monitor mode or Auto, which should adapt to any monitor connection.
