I purchased an RTX 2070 Super Windforce OC 3X 8G. When I installed it on my current PC (functioning normally), no display appeared. After resetting the motherboard, the display worked perfectly in my old PC. My current system specs include B550 Aorus Elite, AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, Scythe Ninja 5 MSI, and a GeForce RTX 3070 VENTUS 3X OC with EVGA Supernova 650 G3. I run Windows 10 with BIOS set to F13. My old PC specs are Z87-GD65 gaming, Intel i7-4770, Kingston HyperX (2x8 DDR3), and a stock cooler from RTX 2070 Super Windforce OC 3X. OS is Windows 8 with BIOS version 1.9.
Review your BIOS configurations before proceeding. Most likely a hardware concern, but follow these guidelines. Step 0: If possible, preserve your current boot, security, legacy, and RAID settings. If you're replacing an old GPU on the new machine: verify power supply adequacy for the new GPU and test other video connections if needed. If removing the GPU, adjust BIOS priority settings to prioritize PCIe video output. Step 1: In your current system, determine whether it uses an integrated GPU or is switching to a different slot. Ensure you're connecting directly to the GPU rather than the motherboard video ports. If unsure, revert BIOS settings to factory defaults by disabling CMOS.
Combine both GPUs on the device simultaneously and confirm functionality
