Removed OEM2.inf and OEM4.inf files, ran a chkdsk /r /f, then attempted sfc /scannow but failed due to *Windows Resource Protection preventing the operation*.

Attempted using the shift key during reboot selection. I understand it's outdated, yet it functions.

Consider a Windows install USB if you don’t have one. Search for MediaCreationTool on Microsoft’s site and follow the instructions to generate an image for your USB drive. Insert the image into your PC using F11 or F12 during boot, choose the USB key, and complete the recovery process. This should work well for your situation. Note: As a traveler in Asia, you may experience some delays.

I've already attempted this, but it didn't work. Also, just to clarify, I'm in Eurasia, not the Americas, right?
