I believe there was a misunderstanding about the cables. You mentioned removing internal ones, but now you realize it should be external. I’ve already completed that task. I’ve even tested it in another area with various displays, adapters, and cables. So far, only my laptop remains unchanged. That’s why I’m trying to determine the next course of action. I’m thinking about resetting the laptop to factory settings first. If that fails, I’ll need to find someone who can handle board-level repairs. I’ve checked Lenovo’s parts list, but it looks like USB-C ports are integrated into the motherboard instead of being separate units.

After checking all variables, including cables and monitors with each port in both orientations, it seems there’s an issue on the type-c side. Both connections should naturally handle DP via a type-c to DP or adapter. A direct type-c to DP cable or type-c to type-c into a display should function. If this problem is resolved completely, that indicates a more serious fault.

For those facing the same problem, updating my drivers via Lenovo Vantage resolved it—though I’m not sure why. It worked, even if I didn’t think about it before. I might have missed a chance earlier, but it seems unrelated to the GPU. Thankful it fixed things so I wouldn’t have had to replace the machine.
