CPU model: Ryzen 7 7800x3d
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB (2x16GB)
GPU: AMD RX 7800XT
Power supply: Corsair RM750e
Motherboard: ASUS Prime B650-Plus
System built approximately two months ago.

On Saturday, I tried launching Valorant but the screen froze and the second monitor shut down. In a rush, I powered off the machine and restarted it, only to see a black screen with no response. After removing all peripherals—including a PCI WiFi card I’d purchased recently—I rebooted again. Clearing CMOS didn’t help. I suspected a GPU problem, so I swapped it out, connected it to the motherboard (which should have handled graphics), and even tried an older GPU, but nothing worked. I connected my GPU to another PC, which functioned correctly.

All fans and LEDs operated normally. I also reinserted the RAM sticks. Immediately, I thought about a PCI lane or motherboard fault, recalling that my new board arrived tomorrow and came without speakers. When I pressed power, fans spun and lights flashed but no sound came through. Checking for speaker issues, I removed the RAM to hear the absence of memory.

I’m uncertain if the issue lies with the CPU or just the RAM. I’ve ordered a replacement motherboard and a 16GB RAM stick. I remember my initial build had limited RAM speeds—around 5400MHz—and it crashed right away. TL;DR: System crashed, no boot, no sound.

I started the system by taking out one of the RAM modules and accessing the motherboard. Next, I'll test it using the likely defective RAM stick and via the graphics card.

It looks like the specific RAM stick is not working properly, while the GPU functions correctly. I think I’ve fixed the issue, but the fan lights are flickering intermittently—this might indicate a power supply problem. I plan to upgrade everything to the new motherboard tomorrow because it offers more USB ports that I need.

So what's happening now? It doesn't turn on at all.
