I own a Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz CL16 [16:18:18:36] with two 8GB modules on a Gigabyte Aorus Elite B550 V2 and a 5900X. While the Aorus Elite isn’t ideal for memory expansion, I aimed to boost it to around 3400MHz if possible, though it’s been challenging. The highest speed achieved was 3333MHz during boot. My main adjustments were DRAM frequency, Infinity Fabric settings, and relying on XMP profiles. I even tried setting the voltage to 1.45V in hopes of reaching 3400MHz, but only managed a few BIOS attempts. Most guides focus on Clock Tuner, which isn’t officially supported for Ryzen 5000 series yet. I attempted to use Clock Tuner’s recommendations to hit 3400MHz, but it didn’t work as expected. I’m unsure if I need a better board or specific tweaks—just some guidance on voltages and timing would be great. Thanks for any help you can provide!

Have you explored the Ryzen Dramas Calculator? It looks like your RAM uses a Samsung B die, and you definitely can push it beyond its intended speed. That’s what appeared after entering your details. Spoiler: it works.

Timing is crucial, some components require adjustments more than others. At 3600MHz, consider using 18-22-22-42. Also, ensure your memory modules are placed in slots 2 and 4 following the 1234 sequence. A good Samsung B-de can run at 3600MHz with 1.45V even if timings are set by 3200 16-18-18-38 XMP. It seems either extremely poor parts shouldn't be used, or most likely it won’t fail completely.

It seems I made an error by selecting slots A1 and B1 instead of the correct A2 and B2 for two sticks. Once I switched to the proper slots, it ran smoothly with its DOCP Profile and even connected to Bios at 3800mhz—though I didn’t test it because I wasn’t sure what might break or if I’d mess up the timing setup yet.

16-18-18 at 3200mt/s isn't a B-Die. Possibly Samsung, though not a B-Die. TyphoonBurner has also been incorrect on multiple occasions.
