Discovered numerous random Steam keys priced around six dollars. Could it be worth it? I understand they’re inexpensive compared to purchasing the games, but have anyone managed to get a solid title from one?

From where exactly? Hope you understand the value. If you don’t see which games the keys apply to, it’s probably a bad idea. You might end up paying for free titles. Who knows—this could be just another data mining scam?

It makes sense because you're likely to receive games worth over $6.99. Whether you actually obtain what you need depends entirely on luck, and we can't predict it.

They aren't worth the investment—just browse a random key site like eneba or g2a, sort through the listings from lowest to highest, and grab a few random keys. It's more affordable and you're likely to find better games. Most of the keys in those packs are essentially free, but you end up spending more overall compared to buying them separately.

Having dealt with a few of them in the past, they're usually just terrible.

I stopped investing my money in those since "10 Random Steam Keys" delivered identical games consecutively (same titles, different keys, separate buys). The seller believed keeping the 2.99€ price point justified losing a customer with a five-year history. PayPal automatically repaid me. Scammers operate, but remember you’re usually the one benefiting. There are genuine options too. IndieGala offers rotating bundles of indie titles—maybe less thrilling, but you can preview them first. (They currently have a few hentai collections, though that might raise concerns; they claim variety across themes, like the 16 VR bundles I received when I still wanted random games.) If you’re drawn to those random packs because they promise specific titles, skip them. It’s either a scam or a waste of time. As long as you’re looking for games that entertain briefly—5 to 15 minutes at most—you won’t waste your effort. But always source keys from trustworthy places.
