Hello, the item you're considering is a Corsair Vengeance 1x8GB RAM stick for PC4, optimized for 25600 MHz. It's being offered as a replacement for a failed CMW16GX4M2C3200C16 model. The link mentions the same details, though the numbering differs slightly. Is it safe to purchase it as a replacement?

It's generally secure, though the maker might have updated the modules while retaining the same part number. I've got a mix of 1 Hynix and 1 Micron stick, along with the same Corsair Vengeance 3600CL18.

In my situation components share identical part numbers but differ in DRAM type.
