This section of the build was a bit unclear for me. I reached the spot where I needed to install the motherboard, but the guides I watched gave conflicting advice on which screw to use. Is this the correct one? The smaller one wouldn’t fit or tighten properly, while this one looks too large. Case: Corsair 4000d Airflow Motherboard: MSI MAG z690 Tomahawk

Absolutely, those screws definitely match what I expected. I wasn't aware newer boards came with screws that fit standard flathead drivers, though most of my pieces only work with Philips heads.
