They likely share the same development platform given their shared technical challenges and design choices. Both games exhibit comparable visual styles and rely heavily on similar in-game components, which helps maintain consistency across environments. Despite differing numbers of NPCs or environmental effects, the overall feel remains aligned. The mention of a specific engine code suggests a coordinated approach to performance optimization.

The team operates with a machine named Babel, which appears to be exclusive to them; according to my understanding, it has only been employed by the crew. This engine is developed by Ivory Towers and is proprietary to them.

The WD engine matches the power of the Driver SF engine, incorporating features from Dunia and AnvilNext.

AC: Unity incorporated a tool named "AnvilNext 2.0," Watch_Dogs relied on engines inspired by "Dunia" and "AnvilNext 2.0" under the name "Disrupt." The Crew operated with a customized version of a game engine called "Babel." All information sourced from Wikipedia.

Ubisoft uses around ten distinct internal engines. That's quite a lot!

They have one entry in the Far Cry series, three for AC and Ubisoft titles (two are no longer available), a single game for Watch Dogs, and possibly one or two more for the smaller games.
