9600X already delivers 88W under PPT, which matches the standard for CPUs with a 65W TDP. I didn’t mention earlier that PCWorld released a video explaining why they haven’t published a review yet—they felt their findings were lower than what AMD recommends. The video is quite long and covers their data thoroughly, but by the end I lost interest, so I’m unsure if they reached any final conclusions. I haven’t compared their numbers to other reviews to assess accuracy. There could be room for slightly improved performance if they adjust their approach.

I didn't watch the PCWorld video, but it's worth noting that Gamers Nexus hasn't released their 9600X review yet since they got a faulty CPU. Those stability problems that pushed back the release might still be appearing.

The Medion exclusive 9600 TX model was a 9700 Pro variant with reduced memory capacity.

Yeah apologies got those foggy acronyms mixed up, meant TDP, so PPT at 110W for 9600X, 140-150W for 9700X Think that's what DerBauer used on his 9700X (or maybe 160W ?)
