From what I know, the i5 10400T isn’t a powerful chip. Would it slow down the RX 580 with 8GB RAM? Is it actually capable? Even if there was a bottleneck, could you still hit around 200 FPS in Valorant? Thanks for your help!

It works well with most GPUs, particularly at 1440p resolution. With the right GPU and display settings, you can achieve over 200 frames per second. Valorant runs efficiently on this setup. Compared to older single-threaded dual-core chips running at 1600MHz on 92nm chips, this setup offers a significant upgrade. Just a few years ago, many believed quad-core single-threaded processors were sufficient for most games—now that's a different story.
