It was much more affordable on GOG at that time, around £20 less. Plus, it didn’t require DRM. Still, downloading it was a bit complicated—it’s a game save file split into two parts: 2.2GB and 1MB, which feels odd. Please let me know once you’ve downloaded it so I can share your thoughts on the new animation style (I think it was the biggest change). For Geralt.

I'm saving it while searching GOG Galaxy. 7.6GB is quite a big update.

DRM-free is a big deal for me—I enjoy seeing how many hours I’ve played and sharing that with friends. That’s why I went for the full price on Steam. Now I’m at 20 hours and heading to Novigrad after finishing a short side quest in Skellige.

If you have the software running, it logs your GOG galaxy usage even without opening it. However, you won’t get the chance to showcase it publicly, as it’s not designed for social sharing.

I should be optimistic. I've struggled to complete the game for more than a month because of a glitch in the Skellige's Most Wanted DLC that kept triggering CTD whenever I tried to fast travel out of Skellige.
