Sure, I previously did that often, but it grew too large and made my DVD player unstable, leading to crashes. Now I use Linux and everything functions properly.

I've come across playonlinux, proton, wine, and Lutris. A recent video by Linus and Antony covered them, and I'm currently using Manjaro Linux, which I really like.
