You're running a Ryzen 5 1600 with the AB350 Pro4 and already have an Nvidia GTX 1050 plus a network card. Adding an Intel Arc A380 for encoding and rendering is possible, but you'll need to check your PCIe lanes. The A380 requires at least 16 lanes (or more depending on configuration), so ensure your motherboard supports that and that the network card doesn't interfere. If you're unsure, consider upgrading your PCIe slots or using a different card if needed.

You have very few opportunities to reach your targets.

I don't have enough information to determine the exact number of lanes remaining without the arc GPU. Could you provide more details about your setup?

Let's skip the 1050 and focus on the A380 version.

Your CPU offers only 20 PCIe lanes, while your GPU likely uses around 16. It's unclear how much bandwidth your network card consumes, but storage devices require 4 lanes. You're probably utilizing nearly all your CPU capacity. The motherboard chip may provide a bit more, though this could impact performance. Consider swapping the 1050 for the A380, or if you need both, you'll need to upgrade your motherboard and CPU.

It's worth mentioning that technically everything could run on your machine, though most cards would operate on half the lanes—meaning GPUs might use X8 instead of X16.

Would need to review the motherboard manual or settings. Typically you'll find two 16x slots; populating both lets the MMO split the X16 CPU lanes evenly, each handling X8. This provides ample bandwidth for either GPU, making it generally fine. Unless you only use DX12 or Vulkan games, ARC performance is unreliable—mostly inconsistent right now. Those early days feel chaotic even at 60 FPS, and it usually doesn't work. You'll have to wait for Intel to improve the drivers before it becomes a solid main GPU for older titles (or current live-service games like Destiny 2, which started in 2017 using DX11 and runs smoothly).

ARC mainly deals with driver problems that resolve fairly fast. The 1050 model feels quite fragile, making it seem like the A380 won’t be much better even with less experienced pilots.

Well, quickly as in months and months instead of years and years. But not super quick. Depends on the title. Again, frametimes are often so horrible that actual fps doesn't matter. I can get 60fps (I use v-sync so it locks to my refresh rate) in Destiny 2 with my A770 and it'll feel like 15-20 due to the frametimes being incredibly inconsistent, entire game feels hitchy/laggy. It's playable, but I feel a little ill so I've just been playing newer engine titles that run DX12 or Vulkan. Fallout 76 is similar, I get motion sick due to how inconsistent frametimes/fps are. And that's an A770 LE (the 16GB one basically, same GPU core) at 1080p, I imagine an A380 would do much worse. So again, hit or miss. If you play one of the older titles Intel has specifically optimized for (mostly stuff like league and CSGO) then it should be fine, otherwise it'll likely be shit.
