Someone might lack the Console, yet have bought Discs... Or for Classic Amiga titles, you can obtain Legal Floppy Images for AmigaOS 4.0.x and similar systems.

Balancing choices is the challenge. Possessing the original gear still counts, but using older consoles like the PS2 for classic systems can be economical. Or going with an Xbox might be the best option. I even have the PS2 lying around unused.
