I only liked Search in Ghosts. The Search and Destroy mode was great. Everything else felt like garbage. Comp AW is better, but the overall experience was disappointing. It was engaging for about two months, but now the game feels dull with all the gun options and additions. Including guns has completely ruined it. From a competitive angle, though, it doesn’t match its potential.
I used to play scump a lot. Now I haven’t played CoD anymore and lost interest. I switched from console to PC. Advanced Warfare wasn’t great. Ghosts was fine, Black Ops 1 was the best. B02 is okay with spawns. My favorite is MW2. It’s the best game overall.
In AW I competed in ranked super hardcore, which the COD fans would refer to as "tryhard." I played on a PS3 and was in the top division there.
Everything after Black Ops 1 felt like a waste. Mw3 was terrible. Black Ops 2 just rebranded it and failed too. Ghosts was when everyone rushed to become "MLG" style, but it didn’t work either. Aw was completely lacking. I competed in MW2 and Black Ops 1, recalling intense 9-man ground wars that were wild. Now it’s mostly hype with no real skill, anyone can play like a pro if they know the map and have connections. That’s enough. I used to join squads that mocked the current "pro" players—look up OTs, ATs, NV, TKs on MLG. Many of those who loved it left because their lives depended on it.
