From my observations, it's generally current, though sometimes a week or two might pass depending on the updates.

Downloading directly from the MSFT website ensures it's current. Running the update tool after a fresh install is always recommended.

That's fine i just didn't want to start over with a fresh install with the old iso i have from Feb 2016, back when win10 was free. So i had thought a new updated iso would be a better choice. Thanks for the help.
