Hey there, can you confirm if Doom works on Windows 8? I bought it via Steam with DosBox and it runs smoothly on Windows 10, but on Windows 8 it freezes right after the cover art loads—no audio, and I have to manually stop it. I’ve also tried using a virtual machine, but it just shrinks and feels like dragging a mouse across the whole desk. There’s a warning about no mouse support in Windows 8, but that doesn’t seem to fix the issue. Please help me get this resolved so I can stop dealing with these problems.
