I was thinking about the Razer Blade Stealth, but it falls short of school requirements since it doesn’t support digital pens.

I understand why you prefer the Surface Pro 4. With enough budget you can also consider a Razer Stealth, Core, and a basic Wacom tablet for portability, though it might feel heavy to carry. The Surface Book is a solid choice, but it’s not ideal for gaming.

Sure, glad to help. The surface book should handle it. I hope they continue enhancing the optimization for Ark, and since I won’t be tackling very tough games, it should work well.
