I'm just doing this for now until all my watercooling components arrive for the new PC.
At 4k it's not a big deal. Smaller resolutions? Fine, but what options exist? Just keep going until you receive the new components—it won't cause the GPU to fail because of it.
At peak performance in visually demanding, CPU-light single-player titles such as Control, Metro Exodus, Assassin's Creed, or Dying Light? It doesn't become a limitation. At lower resolutions for CPU-heavy FPS games like CS:GO, RS, CoD:WZ, or BF2042? You'll be heavily limited by your processor—essentially running a 3060. The situation varies, but as a temporary CPU workaround while you wait for parts, it's better than the 3600.
I thought it would work. I was simply more interested than anything else.
