Checking if the latest update improved the experience, it seems to have made it playable, though not as polished as Far Cry 4. The problem appears to be significant enough that many players avoid it.
It seems like the situation isn't fully resolved. If it's Ubisoft trying to patch it, I'm skeptical it will ever be truly fixed. They might just keep making changes, then impose stricter rules and contracts on users.
It's been.... "improved".... but there's still a long way to go.
The in-game issues are largely resolved, yet the gameplay feels extremely slow. I wouldn't suggest it to others right now.
Using your PC should work perfectly, though I’d love to record a video and share it. For some reason, after making a video of AC Unity, it stutters and drops frames even when the game runs normally. In-game performance is fine, but when you export with Fraps you notice huge FPS fluctuations—sometimes jumping from 60 to around 57. A 970 model handles everything smoothly. The key is switching to FXAA instead of MSAA; this maintains quality while still showing noticeable FPS changes. The rest of the settings are set to 1080p, and everything is at its maximum. Shadows in High (before reaching the limit) also perform well.
Watchdogs hasn't been properly resolved before, so I question if this title will get a fix too.
It has been enhanced and now it works properly. However, I didn't manage to get it at the original launch.
This demo was just shared by Hardocp a few days back, featuring the newest drivers and game update 1.4. http://www.hardocp.com/article/2014/12/2...VJvAk_8B04
