Hey there, I’m starting my first PC and just got the 2-in-box RAM. When I checked the Amazon listing, it said the Vengeance package supports Intel Core, which made me a little worried because I’ve got a Ryzen 3 3300X. Do you think this setup will work? Thanks, a fellow Linux enthusiast

Certainly, it will function. The memory speed and CPU speed don't affect each other.

It seems the setup is likely fine for Intel's XMP profile configuration. Adjustments in BIOS should be minimal. As long as the DIMM matches the laptop RAM type and the motherboard supports those speeds, everything should work smoothly with DDR4.

It employs an XMP profile to boost memory performance, achieving the advertised speed on AMD Ryzen configurations.

It seems like you're questioning whether the presence of a support sticker is merely promotional.

Maybe due to Intel's bigger share of the CPU market compared to AMD. I'm using Vengeance LPX with a Ryzen 2600X, and it seems to match the setup the other person described—same speed and capacity. The motherboard managed to use the profile too.
