Hi, I recently installed a new PC and noticed the AIO cooler making a loud rattling sound. The temperatures are still normal, but I’m concerned about the noise. It’s been only a month since it came out, and I’m worried it might be related to the cooler. I’m hoping it’s not a serious issue and just a loose fan or something simple. Please let me know if you have any advice—thank you for your help!
I think the sound resembles noises from old hard drive heads spinning erratically. Another possibility is the fan blades scraping against the cooler frame, especially if they're misaligned or loose. Still, I’m inclined to believe it matches the classic HDD hum. Stay safe and good luck!
I don’t have any mechanical hard drives, just M.2 drives, so that doesn’t explain it. I increased the fan speed and now it seems resolved, probably because of the fans.
