I planned to assemble a PC using a 9800x3d and learned that 6400 was ideal for that processor. I intended to purchase a kit (2x32, 6400), but I saw it only references Intel's XMP settings, not AMD's EXPO. The link you shared is for the RAM package.

Intel XMP generally functions well with Ryzen 7000/9000 models. I've successfully used various XMP RAM configurations with Ryzen without any problems. The optimal sweetspot for the Ryzen 9000 remains around 6000Mhz CL30. For G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB 6000Mhz CL30 with EXPO, you should see better results.

6000 CL30 represents the optimal setting for Ryzen processors. Verify RAM compatibility by cross-referencing your motherboard’s QVL with the kit number, though most packages should function properly whether XMP or EXPO enabled.

Based on my knowledge of DDR5 from G.Skill, they typically offer either XMP or EXPO, not both together. TridentZ5 used to support XMP exclusively, while TridentZ5 Neo focused on EXPO. Nowadays, these differences are less important since AMD systems can run with either option.

They offer EXPO only kits exclusively at 6000 cl30 speed.

You might not notice any difference between the two speeds.

We're discussing 1-3 frames per second at best. Below are some screenshots from the Hardware Unboxed review of the 9800X3D, including its RAM timings and performance scores.
