hello, recently my uncle discovered a dc5700 mini workstation in the trash. I then purchased an intel q9400 to upgrade it and added some other modifications. Since the socket was lga 775 and the CPU was affordable, I opted for the q9400 instead of the q6600 mainly because it offered better performance for only a few extra dollars. However, when the device arrived, the CPU failed to start. After reviewing other upgrades, it seemed my motherboard couldn't support it due to outdated BIOS or hardware limitations. Once I checked, the q6600 was confirmed compatible, but there was little information about the q9400.
