I tested RealBench for about an hour using HWinfo64 sensors running quietly. Checked for any WHEA errors or unexpected behavior.

Thanks, I'll check that out. If the rated watt for 1231 V3 is 80W but it only uses 56W under stress, could it be throttling?

I was thinking the black things near the lid edge seem suspicious, but usually you wouldn’t notice them unless the chip was tampered with. CPU-Z can show you the details and help you figure out if you’re getting a discount.

It's odd since it's the correct CPU and I've purchased it from this shop several times before. The store is well-reviewed with many customers and no one has mentioned fake CPUs. Geekbench confirms the right scores, even showing better single-core performance. I tried it for two hours and didn't encounter any issues. Now I'm running AIDA64 and Prime95 for a few hours each, but I still don't trust this pin. I'm curious about what might have gone wrong and whether it could lead to problems later.

It looks like someone previously reviewed some technology products and found them to be reliable without any issues. If they pass all tests and function well in your applications, there should be no concerns.
