Fear of an outcome could influence how you apply it with the DeepCool AK620.
Dizmo has got it right, temperatures don't matter and both options perform well on an AK620. It's also worth noting the AK620 is one of the largest air coolers available, making its performance hard to underestimate. In terms of performance, the 13600K delivers solid results—about 3600kHz compared to 5800x3d at a lower cost, though it uses more power: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/intel...0k/22.html
The problem right now is that gaming high-end chips are just too fast. They can only achieve those speeds by running at extremely low resolutions. The budget these days mostly goes toward the monitor and GPU. Everything else seems to be secondary. Unless your GPU is top-tier, I don’t think anything above 4500 is really helpful at the moment. Things might improve later, of course.
The variation in expense between the two options would be negligible. Honestly, if you're concerned about an additional $10 or $20 each year for power, it's unlikely you should invest that much in a gaming machine.
I believe it would cost around 50 or 40 dollars each year, but it wouldn't be inexpensive with this electric option.
