I occasionally try it at my uncle's house using a Fanatec wheel and a racing chair. But yeah, it depends.

it varies based on your priorities and workload. With long hours between jobs and household responsibilities, some individuals don’t have time to stay updated on new trends. Marketing budgets for consoles are significantly higher than those for PCs, which influences availability and promotion. On the other hand, a PC setup offers a smoother experience overall, making even modest performance more noticeable. I’ve seen friends who manage with integrated graphics struggle, but they’re actually performing better than me despite weaker hardware and lower frame rates. People often complain about lacking triple frames, but that’s just part of daily challenges compared to others’ experiences.

Retro games still seem the most authentic, capturing the essence of true gaming from the 16-bit age. Plus, those titles were much more challenging, huh?

I believe only a few gamers who play games really care about graphics just to get the better edge in online battles. It’s even worse in PC gaming. While I get the idea that more power means more chances, I wonder why developers aren’t taking advantage. I see it more as an excuse for spending a lot of money on something I didn’t actually need.

Generally, users express dissatisfaction with lacking features like FOV or FPS lock instead of focusing on high-end graphics.

Usually games don’t let you adjust the field of view either. The FPS restriction is the main performance issue, though I think it’s amusing when folks grumble about it in a game that shouldn’t require it—like a turn-based RPG.

Discover the concept of the uncanny valley. Current trends show improvements, yet higher costs accompany them... The shift isn’t as groundbreaking as it once was between earlier and newer eras.

I have strong visuals. I prioritize gameplay more than anything. Ideal when a game combines both.

I’d say yes, there’s going to be a game that many players are eager to enjoy with high graphics. I remember when companies like Epic and Crytek were popular, and now games like Escape from Tarkov are taking the spotlight.

Winning the game is more important than visuals, this has always been true. Yet it doesn’t mean folks ignore eye-catching elements.
