Lower the voltage on the CPU and avoid pushing it beyond its limits. Skip overclocking the IGP and steer clear of high SOC voltages.

I don't know, but a B450 board should work fine. I'm using a B350 without many problems—it performs better than the B450 Tomahawk Max I had before. Probably no one can give you a definitive answer on this, as Ryzen motherboard compatibility really depends on a lot of factors.
