I've got a younger sibling who's struggling with Valorant. His system has an AMD A8-7680 and a GPU from Ati 102-C26405 (1GB). I'm trying to keep it stable and don't want to risk any damage, so I'm checking if these components work together.

Generally, any CPU works well with any GPU. You won't cause any harm by pairing them (provided you treat them correctly). From what I understand, the GPU is an AMD HD6450 with 1 GB DDR3 and PCIe 2.0 x16. As long as the motherboard includes a PCIe x16 port (probably), you should be fine. But since the GPU is quite outdated (about 11 years old), it's uncertain it will deliver strong performance for Valorant or even outperform modern CPUs.
