Hello everyone, my HTPC has finished working after many years, and I’m searching for a more affordable alternative. In my area, CPU options are limited—mostly mid- and high-end recent models like the 11th gen i5/i7 and Ryzen 5000 series. These are all out of reach. There’s no stock for the older 3400G, which was my initial pick. The newer 5300G isn’t available locally yet and probably won’t arrive for a while. I can build a system using an older 3350G, which offers solid performance for my needs—just enough for 4K streaming and playback of x265 files, without gaming or encoding.

I’m unsure if the 3350G will support 4K at 60Hz over HDMI. Since there aren’t detailed specs on the AMD site (likely because it’s an OEM-only part), I’d appreciate any advice from anyone who has experience with this model. Someone like the i5-10400, which supports 4K at 30Hz over HDMI according to Intel’s info, might be a good reference. Thanks for your help!

I checked the latest info and found that this AMD APU model backs HDMI 2.0b and DisplayPort 1.4, both capable of UHD at 60Hz. It seems it should also work with the 3350G.

That's great to hear! Could you tell me what you were looking for? I was really stuck after spending a long time searching online.

I checked a few online resources, and surprisingly Geizhals stood out with the most detailed feature comparisons among them.
