If you find a bargain 2200g, pair it with a $40 GPU to boost performance. Those extra costs could have been used for a better GPU or RAM that would last longer. Save your good money on the motherboard when you really need it.

The main issue was a white motherboard. I initially thought about the B350 Arctic from MSI, though it's not common. At that time, Prime was on sale, so I went all in. The upgraded VRM also lets me customize the CPU performance.
