The Asus board list confirms compatibility. You can use the B550 board with a 3600 CPU. It’s not about upgrading yet—just installing and holding off on purchasing a new motherboard for a few months.

You're still surprised by the latest BIOS update, aren't you? It's worth checking if the VRMs are designed to support the new firmware. If not, adding mini heatsinks might be necessary to keep things running smoothly.
