New problem reported. Just set up a new AMD 5 5600X in an Aorus B550 Elite AX V2. Previously had an AMD 5600 and it functioned properly. After installing the 5600X, the system triggered a Memory PMU Training error at socket 0 channel 0 socket 1 and reset the BIOS to factory settings. I didn’t like that outcome, so I replaced the CPU and everything worked again. What’s going on? The memory setup shows four sticks at 64GB each in the BIOS, but when I reinstall the 5600X it resets again. Only two options remain: 3D Gen or PCIe 4.0. It seems the issue lies with the BIOS configuration.

The system appears to allow BIOS flashback; consider trying it first.

Do you have your memory speed boosted? Is the RAM type and setup shown in the specifications for four units? Often, processors—especially Ryzen—don’t like having four sticks. I bought extra sticks for my 2700X but had to lower the 3000MHz RAM to 2666MHz so it would boot.

Just factory defaults, no changes made. All sticks removed, kept the same message.

Check if the 5600x functions properly in a different environment.

I just installed the new motherboard with the same B550 and set it up as a test bench. The only change was the newer Bois Ver model. I received a message about FTPM/psp issues after installing a new CPU, but I understand that’s normal. I pressed Y to reset FTPM and everything functioned correctly—CPU appears in BIOS as expected. On the motherboard, I need to update the Bois inside it. Should be okay. But since I’m using Windows 10, I want to verify if Bit-Locker is enabled. I checked the settings and it’s off for all drives. Long story, but CPU works fine and shows up in BIOS. So I answered my own question.

Both processors are 5 5600, except this one lacks the "X" and has a 3.6G speed, while the other has a 3.7G. The main distinction is just the presence of an "X" in one model.

The same Ram sticks were utilized. It was just a brief bio update, thank you for your feedback.
