As a Linux enthusiast, I enjoy switching distros. I’m concerned my SSD might fail. I use a WD 240GB M.2 drive and have reformatted it several times.
It seems unusual. You managed to store around 30 terabytes on your 840 EVO 120GB drive without any issues.
Adjust the settings accordingly. Wiping the SSD affected the entire drive, so the remaining capacity should decrease proportionally.
