You're using the newest version of Windows 10 and encountering an unusual issue with these particular titles. The audio doesn't play through speakers but functions properly with headphones via the front panel. This problem seems limited to these games only, while others run smoothly. Several other titles are installed and working perfectly. I attempted a reinstall and force check through Steam, redownloaded the full game, but nothing resolved the issue. I only experience audio when using headphones through the front panel. My system specifications include an i7 processor, 8700 MHz, MSI Z370 motherboard, dual 16 GB RAM, DDR4 3200MHZ, GTX 1080 Ti, and multiple SSDs. Thank you for your assistance. This situation is making me consider reverting to Windows 7, as I haven't faced such issues there. It's a clean Windows 10 setup, not an upgrade from Windows 7.

It seems the issue might lie in the game code. I recommend checking the sound panel and confirming all desired settings are set to the default.

Located the fix, it stemmed from Nvidia audio configuration that was redirecting sound to my monitor. Turning it off in the Nvidia control panel resolved the issue.

I don’t retain it clearly, just a vague feeling at the back of my mind. I’ll let you know when it comes to memory.
