No signal detected with VGA light on the motherboard.
Hello. I’m facing a problem with my PC that I hope you can assist me with. It began yesterday while playing a game (BO3). Suddenly, the screen froze and I had to restart the computer. After rebooting, I noticed “No signal” on both of my Acer XFA240 monitors and the VGA light on my motherboard. So far, I’ve tried: restarting the PC several times, unplugging the monitors, changing display port inputs on the GPU, removing the GPU and RAM, cleaning the slots, and reinstalling everything. My GPU is a 3070 FE, and it continues to spin the fans during boot-up, but I still don’t get any signal on my monitors. I’m not sure what else to do. My monitors are Acer XFA240; the GPU is 3070 FE. I’ve used this model since its release without any issues.
This was the primary problem with my 5900X / RTX3060ti setup. It turned out the RAM wasn't suggested by the manufacturer's QVL. Although many claimed RAM is just RAM and QVL doesn't matter, the issues disappeared after replacing it with a kit listed on the board's QVL.
