Being clear about past efforts and actions is useful. Focus on details of what was attempted and how it was handled.

The indicators below show that the device has power, and you’re asking about any loss of power with other components. You mentioned having an alternative power source but prefer not to use an MBUS since you just swapped the motherboard. Regarding the inspection, you should check the connections and visible areas as needed.

Check if the lights dimmed on the GPU when the system shut down. Confirm the GPU retained power after the motherboard lost voltage. Inspect the pins in the 24-pin connector on both the motherboard side and the PSU cable. Test with a different power supply. If the problem matches exactly, the issue likely lies with the motherboard.

I also tried a different PSU, but the issue persisted. It seems the top side of the connector might be faulty. I’m hoping it can be resolved without replacing the entire unit.

It might have happened that the board was bent earlier, causing the connector from the MB to come loose or a trace in the MB to break. The latter is more serious. Check the back of the 24-pin connector on the MB to ensure all pins are arranged correctly. At this stage, it's advisable to send the board back for replacement.

The board is quite outdated, so I won’t be able to return it for exchange and I don’t need to place it on the connector, but I can work with it anywhere along the connector.

I don’t have enough information to determine the issue without seeing the board. You’ll need to check if the trace is damaged or if the receptacle pin in the 24-pin connector is faulty. Good luck!
