No screen, yet the fans keep turning?
Hi everyone. I attempted to reset the power switch and re-seat everything on my motherboard as instructed on the ASUS website. The process worked on a fully functional PC, but now my monitors aren’t displaying anything despite trying various cables. The fans are running and the GPU indicator lights up. The power LED is flashing very quickly, indicating a likely connection issue. After some time, the system just powers off. What should I do?
Based on my observations, fans lacking display points often point to RAM. Perhaps you should reinsert the RAM modules. Your comment mentions resetting the power switch and removing/reseating components from the motherboard, but that doesn’t seem to apply to RAM.
It might be the RAM, so consider removing them and reinserting them. If that fails, try replacing one at a time.
I believe the front panel connectors are the issue. I changed the slots and used one stick (both sticks tried) for RAM, but it keeps blinking, fans spin, and the display doesn’t work.
I think the 12700 includes integrated graphics. It might help to detach your GPU and connect directly to the motherboard via the monitor to check for changes.
You're experiencing difficulty removing the CPU cable. Have you tried using a different tool or technique to gently pry it out? Sometimes a small screwdriver or a specialized cable removal tool can help. If you're still stuck, consider checking the documentation for your motherboard or contacting support for further guidance.
it fits perfectly and includes a locking feature on one side that prevents it from being removed easily, making it somewhat challenging, similar to opening a pickle jar, but instead of using force you must grasp a tiny cable that feels slightly sharp for your fingers while keeping the lock open
