Yeah, its a bummer, but in a sense, its a relief. If something were to shit itself, I'd rather it be something that's easy to install, unlike a power supply or god forbid the motherboard itself. I'd be fucked right now if it was the motherboard, for sure.

The 6800xt consumes a lot of power in this setup, causing the display to freeze shortly after reaching the desktop. It’s not active at the moment.

With any premium card I wouldn't link them together, particularly for a budget PSU such as yours, unless you're able to use different cables for each one.

I'm handling it, but I don't like that I'm only hearing from an RMA representative. None of AMD, Nvidia, Powercooler mentioned anything about daisy chaining possibly affecting power delivery on the product site. They said it's just a matter of not wanting to take responsibility for their own mistakes. The GPU info only says "two PCIe connectors." Worse, it repeats the same thing for the 5700xt. If daisy chaining is a problem, I strongly recommend putting this important detail at the top of both the "power supplies" and "graphics cards" forums here. Since manufacturers seem completely indifferent, this could be a big issue. This kind of problem should be clearly highlighted in those sections so regular users aren't caught off guard.

The representative kept suggesting changes that didn’t help, and I just powered it up quickly—right after the advice. The screen went off immediately, just like before. It looks like I lost a lot of time. This GPU isn’t working properly.
