Hey there, I’m ready to accept the outcome and ask for some guidance. This problem started after some liquid got onto my girlfriend’s computer. At first, the system would boot with RGB case lighting, fans spinning, AIO lights, and the motherboard LEDs. But then there was no signal to the screens and the fans kept pulsing rapidly every 1-2 seconds. No peripherals lit up, and the motherboard only showed an orange DRAM indicator. Since then, I’ve swapped out several parts as shown below.

The main issue was the motherboard displaying a white residue around certain resistors—probably corrosion. I’m not sure if that’s accurate.

Here’s what I changed:

- CPU: 5800XT
- Motherboard: ROG B550-F GAMING WIFI II
- Power Supply: Thermaltake 700W
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200mhz
- GPU: Zotac 4070 (tested with a 3070)
- Cooler: Off-brand 280mm fan cooler
- SSD: m.2 Samsung

Below is a summary of the changes and results:

1. PSU: No change
2. MOBO: Fans stopped pulsing, still showing orange DRAM light.
3. CPU: No change
4. RAM: Made the orange DRAM light white; also turned on a greenish-white boot light.
- I originally tried this with my own RAM, but it didn’t work with the BIOS or CPU. The new RAM changed the behavior.
5. Peripherals: Now light up when powered on—different from the original.
6. Next fix attempt: Flash BIOS via USB.
- The BIOS flash light on the motherboard doesn’t blink even though it’s working.
- I have the correct BIOS version and the USB is formatted as FAT32.
- Someone suggested removing all PCIe components and using just one RAM stick, but that didn’t help.

I’m still unsure, but I think giving the 3070 another shot might work since the boot and DRAM lights were white before. It’s a bit of a guess, but I’m open to trying again. If you have any insights, I really appreciate it. Thanks!
