I previously resolved the issue with a BIOS update. Now my setup functions properly, but it freezes when restarting. The system hangs and the DRAM indicators begin to blink. I power off the machine by pressing the power button, then it restarts correctly. No components have been altered. Today I returned from work and noticed strange behavior with my new system. It remained on but didn’t respond, no screen displayed, only the RAM LEDs lit up—except for the RAM indicator, which was active. The DRAM LED continued to flash. After forcing a restart, it returned to normal, though still unresponsive. The Razer mouse LEDs were erratic and couldn’t be fixed via software (it worked on my previous machine). If I power cycle the system, the DRAM LED flashes again, but I must disconnect and reconnect the power cord to get it to boot. There’s no overclocking applied, and the EXPO RAM profile was enabled without issues. I’ve verified each RAM stick individually in its slot, consistently getting the same results. The HWM reports over 2V on a core. I suspect my motherboard may be faulty, but I wanted to ask about the Ryzen 7700x Gigabyte B650M Arous Elite AX AM5 LGA 1718 with Samsung 980 PRO M.2 2280 1TB G. You recently assembled a PC for a friend using identical components, yet both are experiencing boot problems. After updating the BIOS to F32g, the only method to start it appears to be pressing the Q-Flash button on the rear I/O before turning on the power button on the front case.
