I struggled setting up Windows 11 using this USB from Best Buy. After installation, it asked me to sign in with Microsoft, but when I entered my email, the screen went black and said there was no signal. Even after retrying the installation multiple times, the same issue occurred whenever I entered my password.

Attempted to install Windows 10 but encountered a persistent no signal warning from the monitor. During setup, the issue remained unresolved for two hours before resuming. Although the system booted normally with fans running and lights active, the error persisted afterward. The problem was resolved by switching to a different HDMI cable connected to the second GPU, which also revealed that Windows had disabled the other one.

No, you should check the instructions first. Turning the PC on might not resolve the issue.

Check if you can access Windows 10 or 11, give it a try.

I didn’t accomplish anything except access the Windows recovery interface. I’m planning to attempt a system reset to check if it resolves the issue.

Issues can arise with computers. I experienced something similar when installing Windows 10 on one of my desktops—it triggered a signal that cut off the GPU connection, but after checking the BIOS and changing it back, it started booting again. Make sure to verify the BIOS settings.

It didn’t work, not sure what’s causing the issue. Should I attempt to reinstall Windows again?

Review the bios settings to identify your Windows 11 edition. You previously noticed compatibility issues and successfully installed a different ISO using Rufus.

It’s likely this will occur once more. However, if you have no alternative, attempt another try. Make sure to verify the BIOS settings—especially if you’re using a dedicated GPU instead of the built-in one. Rufus also allows selecting a Microsoft account for login.

It’s Windows 11 Home and I’m not sure about the other details you mentioned—the USB you received seems to have multiple versions of Windows 11 on it.
