While playing intense games on my PC, it frequently crashes. The display loses connection and audio freezes briefly before restarting, but the signal remains absent afterward. I’m forced to manually restart it. In Event Viewer, the only error appears as Kernel 41, which isn’t the main issue. I’ve attempted various fixes: updated drivers, reinstalled via DDU, disabled integrated GPU, used a different GPU driver from the manufacturer’s site, upgraded the power supply from 650W to 850W, changed cables, updated BIOS, reset everything, and even tried two different PCIe cables. I also replaced the RAM and tested with updated settings. The crashes occur even without XMP profiles, and I’ve run stress tests using OCCT, Furmak, 3dmark, and Cinebench. In some light-hearted games it doesn’t crash at all—Crash Bandicoot: The Final Chapter and Plague Tale stand out. The worst crashes happen in The Finals. I’m planning to try another GPU-heavy game to see if it fails. I’ve also checked temperatures, which seem normal. I can share a log from the hardware monitor when the crash happened. I’m unsure if my GPU is faulty, but I want certainty before sending it for RMA (I didn’t purchase it on Amazon). Here are my specs: Windows 11 Home Edition, MSI MAG A850GL PSU, 850W 80 Plus Gold motherboard, AsRock B650 Pro RS Wifi, AMD Ryzen 5 7600, CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 RAM (32GB), 6000MHz CL30, Intel XMP XFX, SPEEDSTER SWFT 319 RAD, RX6800, 16GB Kingston KC3000 PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD, Thermalright PA120 SE ARGB (log in CSV format).
